The Mission of Yahweh Resident Notices and Agreements

Volunteer Work Contribution
Mission of Yahweh residents are required to donate 20 hours per week of work time to The Mission of Yahweh if you are not employed on a full-time (40 hours/wk) basis outside The Mission.  If you work part-time outside of The Mission, you must make up the difference of your part-time hours and the 20 hour/wk internal requirement.  No exceptions will be made to this rule without the prior approval of the Resident or Case Manager.

  Television Policy
No televisions will be allowed in individual rooms.  One television will be centrally located in each building of The Mission for group viewing.  Weekday viewing time is restricted to 6:00 PM - to 9:00 PM, and weekend viewing is unrestricted.   These television restrictions will be strictly enforced and violation can result in ejection from The Mission of Yahweh.

  Resident's Room Policy
From the hours of 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Monday through Friday, residents and their children will not be permitted in their rooms.  This time should be used productively to attend classes, seek employment, seek government aid, and work in and out of The Mission.  No exceptions will be made to this rule without the prior approval of the Resident or Case Manager.

Mission of Yahweh residents may not eat, store, prepare, or cook food in their room or living space.  This restriction includes all food (including snack foods such as chips, cereal, crackers and soda) except infant formula.

"I will explain this rule to my children also, but I understand I am responsible for my children's actions.  I also agree to position my bed at least 10 inches away from the wall, permanently, move all my belongings away from walls, and clean thoroughly and regularly behind, under and around my belongings"

  Waiver of Responsibility
"I do hereby give permission to The Mission of Yahweh employees, volunteers, and sponsors/contributors to take me and/or my child/children to off-site activities and agree that I will not hold anyone associated with The Mission of Yahweh responsible for any accidents or injuries which may occur as a result of such activities or travel".

  Zero Tolerance Policy
Any resident and/or employee of The Mission of Yahweh caught engaging in theft, drug and alcohol related activities, dishonest behavior, or other activities unbecoming to God and this organization, will be promptly dismissed from these premises.  The Resident Manager, Director, or any member of the Board of Directors can conduct this dismissal.

Rules Violation Policy
Residents failing to abide by The Mission of Yahweh rules as agreed to herein will receive a written warning from the Resident Manager on duty.  If you receive three written warnings of rule infractions of any type, you will be requested to leave The Mission of Yahweh immediately and seek shelter elsewhere.

By signing below you are stating that you have read and agree to follow all Mission of Yahweh rules.
